Durante cinco a\u00f1os, la Gulf Labor Coalition, un grupo cosmopolita de artistas y escritores, ha estado presionando a las marcas culturales occidentales de Saadiyat para garantizar la protecci\u00f3n de los trabajadores. Gulf Labor ha coordinado un boicot en Guggenheim Abu Dhabi y ha sido pionero en la acci\u00f3n directa innovadora que ha involucrado a varias ocupaciones espectaculares de museos. Como pArte de una iniciativa de un a\u00f1o de duraci\u00f3n, una serie de artistas, escritores y activistas presentaron una obra, un texto o una acci\u00f3n. Contextualizado por ensayos que rastrean c\u00f3mo ha evolucionado Gulf Labor, sus contribuciones se reproducen en este libro.
